Welcome Message from the President and the Board of Directors
Dear Cazenovia Golf Members,
Welcome back to a new season at the club, and a very special welcome to all our brand new members. We are excited to have you at the club! Cazenovia Golf Club officially opened on April 8, 2025, but mother nature did not seem to care about our 2025 season getting started on time. Hopefully warmer weather and some dry course conditions are just around the corner.
We are thrilled to have Head Golf Professional, Dennis Colligan again leading our club in the pro shop and out on the course and range for instructional opportunities. Our club is very fortunate to have Dennis, and we are all excited to see him again after his winter in Florida. Dennis’ season began on Tuesday, April 8th, so please come up to the pro shop and get well stocked to start your golf season.
The Membership is very pleased to welcome back Chef Cory Estelle for a second season at the club. Chef Estelle will be managing the bar and kitchen in addition to his duties with our dining experiences. Chef Estelle hopes to be fully open for business by Wednesday, April 30th. The bar should be open soon as we await our annual liquor license renewal to be approved.
We play golf on one of the areas most well kept and manicured golf courses thanks to Superintendent Brent Carroll and his staff’s efforts. Please be sure to follow the lead of the Club’s Golf Professional and Course Superintendent when it comes to playability and the approved use of the golf carts. We don’t want to cause our greens and grounds any damage early in the season.
Please be on the lookout for an announcement in the coming weeks about when our Club’s Spring meeting will take place. All members are invited to the Spring meeting. According to the bylaws, the Spring meeting is to take place before June 15th each season.
And finally, dues invoices for the 2025 season were due by April 1, 2025. We extend our traditional grace period through April 30. Only members that have paid their dues should be playing golf at the course. Please submit your dues on time.
We are all looking forward to a great season at the Cazenovia Golf Club at our “beautiful & sporty” old course. We hope to see you soon!

Welcome to the 2025 Golf Season: A Message from our Head Professional, Dennis Colligan
We are excited to announce the start of our 2025 season! The course is ready for another fantastic year of golf, and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Please call the pro shop at 315-655-8575 to check on the status of golf cart availability until the golf course has firmed up for the season.
Pro Shop Hours: The Pro Shop will be open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday as well, to help you with all your golfing needs. These hours will change once the season and the weather allows us.
Golf Shop Update: The Golf Shop is stocked with fresh new gear for the season, featuring top brands such as Under Armour, Ahead, Southern Tide, and Greg Norman. Whether you’re looking for stylish apparel or the latest accessories, we have you covered.
Golf Equipment: We’re proud to continue offering Taylor Made equipment for all your golfing needs. Visit the shop to check out the latest clubs, balls, and gear to elevate your game. The prices are as competitive as anyone online especially Taylor Made equipment.
Taylor Made Demo Day: Mark your calendars! Join us for the Taylor Made Demo Day on Sunday, May 4th from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This is your chance to test out the latest Taylor Made gear, including drivers, fairway woods, irons and wedges, with expert fitting and advice.
Golf Lessons: Lessons will be scheduled once the long-range forecast is more promising and the range is open. Stay tuned for more updates, and we’ll be sure to keep you informed about when the season’s lessons begin.
Leagues: If you were part of the leagues last year, please call the Pro Shop to let us know if you plan on participating again this season. We want to ensure all spots are filled and everyone gets the chance to enjoy league play or get on the sub list! 315-655-8575.
Bag Storage: For those interested, bag storage is available for $100 per bag. Please make payments directly to Dennis. Let us know if you’d like to take advantage of this convenient service.
